Project 1 Reflection
This project was my first time really building a website from scratch, and I learned a lot more than I expected about how HTML and CSS work together. I especially enjoyed figuring out how to connect multiple pages, style each one differently, and use my own pictures and experiences to make the website feel like it was actually mine. It was also fun to see something I built in VS Code turn into a real website that I could share.
One of the biggest challenges was figuring out how to style each page differently while still using one CSS file. I'm especially proud of how I gave each page its own color scheme and layout while keeping the website consistent, and I added a subtle hover effect that slightly enlarges each image when you mouse over it, which makes the site feel a little more polished. I also enjoyed being able to use my own experiences and photos to make the project feel personal. In the future, I'd like to learn more about advanced CSS and how to make websites even more interactive.
